About
The movement foundation.
The political movement for a freer, more accountable America. We exist to define the philosophy, organize around it, and become the trusted authority for electoral judgment.
Institutional identity
US Populists is an independent civic advocacy and policy movement. We have a viewpoint. We apply evenhanded research standards. We are not a government entity and we do not pretend neutrality on liberty, accountability, or concentrated power.
Voice
Direct, informed, humane, and precise. We say what is costed and what is not. We state principled disagreement without treating people as enemies.
What success looks like
Voters can explain the doctrine. Candidates fear failing the scorecard. Parties feel pressure to meet liberty and accountability tests. The public can inspect our money, methods, and revisions.
Frequently asked questions
What is US Populists?
US Populists is an independent civic movement and research authority that evaluates policy and candidates through individual liberty, public benefit, fiscal responsibility, and accountability—keeping opinion findings, outcome evidence, and principle judgments separate.
Are you a political party?
We are a movement and civic institution. We publish a proposed charter, platform directions, and research-led comparisons. Ballot-line strategy follows legal structure and capacity; philosophical clarity comes first.
Do you endorse candidates or publish national rankings?
Edition 10 research does not authorize a complete national numeric scorecard or endorsement list. Race pages are qualitative dossiers with sources and limits. Missing evidence stays visible.
How should voters use this site?
Start with principles and proposed platform directions, then read the race dossier for your contest. Compare current proposals, relevant records, matched public preferences, and benefit evidence—without treating a national poll as a district mandate.
Are you left or right?
Neither. We are liberty-forward and accountability-forward: personal freedom, honest finance, essential-service competence, and scrutiny of concentrated power in any faction.
