Accountability

Trust should be inspected.

Governance, finances, conflicts, and corrections belong in public view—especially for a movement that demands the same from everyone else.

Governance

Decision rights, editorial independence, and leadership succession are published as the organization charter matures. Research approval stays separate from fundraising and communications.

Finances

Funding sources, allocation priorities, compensation policy, and audit status will be disclosed on a living ledger. A donor’s preferred conclusion must not determine sources or scores.

Conflicts

Material interests and recusals are recorded. Donor concentration cannot silently rewrite doctrine.

Corrections

When evidence changes a conclusion, we publish what changed, why, and which recommendations were affected—including errors that favored our preferred policy.

Standing research rules

  • We do not grant or deduct points for party membership.
  • We distinguish promises from votes, implementation, and results.
  • We publish contradictory evidence and uncertainty.
  • We do not call one poll the will of the nation.
  • We do not treat member opinions as representative national research.
  • We do not score missing information as opposition.
  • We correct errors visibly, including errors that favor our preferred policy.
  • We protect equal rights even when those rights are unpopular.

Know who to vote for. Know why.

US Populists is the authority for liberty-forward, accountability-first politics—and the scorecard parties and candidates must clear.
