Issue brief
Immigration with Due Process
How should borders work without abandoning rights?
Our position
Evaluate border management, asylum, work authorization, detention, removal priorities, identification, and judicial review separately. Enforce law without racial profiling or suspended due process.
Why it matters
Americans can support enforcement and still reject unlimited coercion. Rights and competence are not opposites.
Evidence
P09–P11 and P27–P29 show combined preferences for enforcement, asylum limits, crime-based deportation, and conditional legal pathways—not a single mandate.
Strongest objection
Capacity, court backlogs, and local impacts are real constraints. Publish measurable rules, costs, and appeal rights.
