Position and record comparison

James Talarico supports a Medicare buy-in, healthcare cost controls, PBM accountability, and anti-corruption reforms. This is not identical to mandatory single-payer. Ken Paxton’s issues emphasize confronting powerful interests and border/security priorities; the full coverage alternative needs more verification. Ted Brown is the Libertarian nominee.

US Populists assessment

A buy-in expands an option and must be tested on premiums, eligibility, reimbursement, adverse selection, and subsidy costs. Corporate-accountability rhetoric requires consistent enforcement and disclosure. P04 cannot be directly assigned to a buy-in question. Paxton is not John Cornyn; do not import Cornyn’s Senate votes.
