2026 Midterm Elections

Nationwide inventory of 35 Senate, 36 governor, and 435 House contests with qualitative research dossiers. Inventory completeness is not audit completeness—and no endorsement slate is published.

Active research guide Research checked October 8, 2026 | Edition 10

Proposed institutional framework and research dossiers. Not an adopted platform, endorsement slate, or complete national numeric scorecard. The nationwide inventory covers 35 Senate contests, 36 governor contests, and 435 House districts. Equal-depth platform and ballot audits remain unfinished (68 active source-recovery entries).

How to use these dossiers

  1. Read the candidate’s current proposal in the race summary.
  2. Separate declared position from selected official record.
  3. Match public preference only to the exact proposition asked—national polls are not district majorities.
  4. Treat missing evidence as unscored. Party platforms stay in the compare matrix, not imputed to nominees.

Read race dossiers for current positions, selected records, preference context, and stated gaps. Unknown is not zero. Party platforms are context, never a candidate score.

U.S. Senate races

35 contests · 111 candidate entries in the research inventory.

House and critical elections

All 435 regular voting House districts are inventoried (1104 candidate entries). Selected official field checks cover 442 entries across 9 states and 134 House contests. Publishable House pages stay qualitative until equal-depth release gates are met—see coverage limits.

Alaska ballot measures

Alaska Ballot Measure No. 2 (24ESEG)

Would replace top-four primaries and ranked-choice voting with party primaries and a single-choice general election, and repeal specified 2020 campaign-finance limits and disclosures.

Stated administrative cost $2,630,958 (not a perpetual annual cost). Voters cannot split the election-system and finance components.

Alaska citizenship exclusivity measure (25USCV)

Makes citizenship exclusivity for voting explicit and would not change the underlying citizenship requirement.

Stated administrative cost $114,050. A “no” vote must not be portrayed as authorizing noncitizen voting.
